We Love Travel Advisors 2021

Letter from the publisher

In good times and in bad, travel advisors serve as planners, advocates, fixers, counselors and even muses for their clients. Never has that been more true than today as the world and the travel industry continue to face unprecedented challenges.

Over the past few months, travel advisors have been presented with a myriad of difficult situations, have been forced to learn and evolve at a rapid rate, and have continuously gone above and beyond to help their clients in countless ways. From navigating insurance policies to rebooking trips, from getting clients home at a moment’s notice to keeping travelers’ sense of wanderlust ignited and much more, your efforts have made a difference in so many lives, and inspire us every day.

For these reasons — and many more — we at Travel Weekly and TravelAge West want to take this moment to thank the travel advisor community for all that you do. We admire your dedication, we appreciate your expertise and we are so grateful to you for serving as an ally for the traveling public.

And we’re not the only ones who are thankful for you. Within the pages of this book are suppliers from across the travel industry who greatly value the work that advisors are doing — not just during these extraordinary times, but on a daily basis, rain or shine.

One of the most important takeaways from these recent challenges is the importance of having partners who will support you, your business and your clients. We understand that trust and confidence are going to be paramount for the travel industry moving forward — and the suppliers participating in this book know it, too.

So thank you, travel advisors! We look forward to a bright future, knowing we’re all stronger together.
